The Chronicles of My Life/Dating the Married Man #2

Actually, Married Man # 2 ....Well, let's just say
I don't want to go there...So, techinically, I'm
going to be writing (typing) about Married Man #3.....Oh
my..I knew there was a connection there as soon as I saw him...He
came into my work every day (an undisclosed location in
Texas). We flirted for a few days...But I suppose neither
of us could take much more of that...I had my friend tell
him that I wanted his #, but, before she could tell him he
asked for mine...Anyways, I ended up just writing down
his # and we talked later that day. We talked for a long time
and finally I asked him the dreaded question, "Are
you married?" I sincerely was hoping he would say
no, but to my non-luck, he (apparently) said yes. I asked
him why he wanted to cheat and he explained that it was her
idea and it would be okay for him to have a girlfriend as long
as he didn't keep anything a secret (she wanted to know
where we would be going, stuff like that). That was just
the strangest thing to me at the time. I could here her in
the background talking and I asked if I could talk to her.
We ended up talking and she said it was true, she didn't
care... My thought at that point was, "Well, whatever,
maybe she gets some kind of thrill from thinking about her
husband with another woman." So, we proceeded to
date each other, he would give me rides home from work, things
were good. One night he came into my work and said he couldn't
sleep and he just wanted to see me even though he knew we couldn't
talk or anything because I was working. He left after a couple
of hours and then I got a phone call from none other thatn
The Wife. She said, "Where is my husband? Is he up there?
He wasn't here when I woke up." I told her, "No,
I haven't seen him. I've been here at work all night
anyway." I had to lie..I didn't want to cause
problems for him. By the time I had gotten home (about an
hour after she had called me at work), she had called again
8 times, plus left a couple of voice messages. No sooner
had I sat down....RING...The Wife again. "If you
guys are going to be seeing each other, he needs to get over
here and pack his shit! I know he's over there!"
He wasn't....And I said, "He's got to be
at work by now, don't you think? I haven't seen
him I swear. I thought it was OK with you anyway." She
said that he wasn't answering his work or cell phone
and that she was sick of it, she didn't want me to see
him, blah, blah, blah. So, I told her that if it was that important
to her, then I wouldn't see him. Sorry to bust your bubble,
but I never had sex with #3. We just made out and stuff and
had a really good time talking to each other. We stopped
seeing each other. He still came into my work regularly
and we both still had feelings for each other, but by the
time I realized that I wanted to see him with or without The
Wife's consent (imagine that), I had a boyfriend,
and things were great and I didn't want to screw it up.
I moved to California and I still feel like calling him,
but I don't know his #'s anymore...I guess that's
why I'm writing this article...Because I'm thinking
about him. That, and I want to know why a woman would say it's
ok for her husband to cheat in the first place (in a marriage
that is your standard, non-swinging, non-open marriage).
On top of that why would she say it was okay and then change
her mind? I'm pretty sure she was just testing him.
Let me know your opinion...
