A FEW OBSERVATIONS ABOUT Adult FriendFinder
Im a single guy and have been on this site for almost a year.
After all the tireless hours of reading, sifting through
profiles and emailing, Ive noticed the following few
things:
When I email someone for the first time, I never bring up
the matter of sex. I send emails that tell a little bit about
me and my emails are nicely put, written with class, and
99% of the time with no spelling errors. I read all profiles
including the topics section and attempt to only send to
members who match my cupid settings. If a woman says no
men, I dont waste my time or hers. If a woman lives in California
and Im in Pennsylvania, I dont waste my time or hers. Every
email Ive sent, Ive sent at least a face photo and never
just a cock shot. I follow all the suggested rules for
emailing women and hopes of getting more replies. Still,
I hardly ever get them. Im not a bad looking guy either and
have a lot to offer a fun chick who wants to have some fun times
with a great guy. Ive done better elsewhere.
Guys, when a new female member joins and you go back to her
profile not less than a week later, a lot of times you just
get (this members profile) is turned off. I think 1 of
2 things just occurred. That particular woman has gotten
so many emails, she just gave up on the site and is taking
a long and perhaps permanent break in evaluating emails,
some of which were probably classless and she just couldnt
take it anymore. Or, that profile was a spam add that got
caught. I think more the latter than the former is the situation.
Based on what Ive been reading in the No Thanks section,
too, I bet a lot of the emails Ive sent were never even opened
and read based upon the over whelming amount of emails the
women receive. Why am I wasting my time?
The single guys pay a lot of the revenue on this site or so
it seems, and we get the biggest shaft. For instance, when
you go on the IM, much of what you see are standard members
who are women looking for other women only. These standard
members are contacting each other through the IM, not paying
dime one for a membership and are getting action, for free.
Theres a lot to be said for that.
All members should pay and maybe some of the women will be
a little more serious and reply to some of us guys who really
want to make this site work. An everyone has to pay format
will cut down the spammers, too. I challenge Adult FriendFinder to do a better
job in advertising to single women like some of the other
traditional sites do. Perhaps the extra revenue could
best serve towards a marketing campaign. A better, happier
customer base may result.
Needless to say, Im through being frustrated. To all the
guys on here who are actually getting laid, I tip my hat to
you. However, it certainly appears that you either have
to be something close to a male model or be well hung to get
anywhere on here. But quite frankly, if youre reading
the rant section, most likely youre neither of those either.
