RE: THERE IS A DIFFERENCE
I agree with bali29 that any man who only wants to meet a woman
in a parking lot or park is kinda sleezy...no check that
it IS sleezy. As far as going to the ladies place, I've
found most women are more at ease in their on environment
so that part of the argument I question. The alternative
is his place or a hotel. Where does the woamn feel the most
comfortable...that should be the question. Which brings
me to my point. Why does bali29 think men are somewhat obligated
to pay for sex. What about going dutch? The author clearly
equates sex with money (or some other exchange of good for
the "services" to be rendered). I can't
disagree more with the idea that a man's sexuality
should be based on his willingness to pay. Don't get
me wrong, I'm a gentleman in all respects...I open
doors, I DO pay for pratically everything...dinner....drinks...you
name it. But you know what I found out? It's not really
appreciated as much as one would expect...the ladies think
kindness is weakness! Maybe that's where a man's
hesitancy comes in...past experience.
So ladies, if you expect a man to "pay up" as a
condition of having sex with you...what do you think that
makes you look like in the man's eyes? Hint...there's
one or two uncomfortable words that come to mind. Go figure.
So consider keeping things on equal footing, maybe pay
your way. No doubt a burger and fries doesn't cost that
much, so much the better that you should at least offer to
pay for it. As the Frenchman said in "The Matrix Reloaded"..causality...cause
and effect.
