My Letter To Adult FriendFinder About The Rights & Wrongs of Membership
Well let me start by saying that I have been a "standard"
member for along time. Back when you could view up to 5 profiles
per day. (the good old days) Now not only can you do close
to nothing as a standard member, but the few "privledges"
that we do have such as earning points for redemption do
not work properly now either. For appx. 1-1/2 months now
I have earned 0 points and by rights I should have ALOT more
than I do... I also remember that this site used to have an
offer that if you submitted a buisness that was valid (such
as a strip club, or adult store) you would recieve 1 mo. free.
I had done this on 3 occasions and after e-mailing Adult FriendFinder a few
times I just figured that it was a lost cause and that no one
at Adult FriendFinder really cares anyway. The standard members here out
number the pay members by far!! With out the masses of free
members this site would mot have the numbers that you are
proud of. I am not saying that you should not be proud of the
head count but only that you need to realize that most of
the people on this site have at one time or another been a
standard member. By taking away their benifits you are
not only limiting their exposure to YOUR site, but many
poeple would be happy to pay for the service if they knew
what they were going to get! They are just shown such a small
amount of what the site is and what it is about that they do
not see what they are going to get for their money... These
are just opinions from myself, but I spend some time reading
the questions and articles (trying to EARN my points, with
no luck) and I would venture to say that nearly half of the
things posted , and the replys as well, are about how Adult FriendFinder
is full of "fake" people and that the site makes
up profiles of women to offset the ratio. I do not know if
this is the case or not. I would not be suprised if it were,
but that is not relavent to myself. I have been contacted
a couple of times by other members. I have not really had
much luck, and in my years on this site I have only been contacted
by 2 people. I am sure that the reply from Adult FriendFinder would be that
if I were a silver or gold member that I would get more profile
hits and more "action", but that is exactly
what I am talking about. The solution is to pay for something
and it will be beter. Well I am not convinced. There have
been many times that I have been close to upgrading and I
decided not to. If the service isn't that great now
when it is free then why should I pay for it???? If you all
feel different than I guess that I am just out of line....
