Love
As sad as it seems, there are many people out there that are
having much too much trouble with love. Many people become
too cynical or troubled. Others because too desperate
and try too hard. Still, others seem to take it to another
extreme and take love to an ugly place. I am a 26 year old woman
who is happily married to the love of my life. Both of us were
in love when we were younger and had our hearts broken. However,
that was young love and statistically, those do not work
out. Now, as an adult, I can honestly say I am glad it did not
work out. I have learned that love is completly giving and
sharing, laughter, quiet moments, excited moments, dull
moments. Love is staying by one's side during their
time of need. It is being able to look into someones after
crying their heart out and being able to that you love them
even more. Love is the abilty to forgive and forget and never
hold grudges. Love is the ability and the willingness to
communicate and be open and honest. Love is work but if it
is done correctly, it is the fun. Love is the best time of
your life. When you are in love, you do not try and control
that person through domination and contempt. You do not
try and change that person into something you wish they
were instead of the person that they are. Love is not perfect,
but who wants perfection? Doesn't that get boring?
