Here's another non-sex topic like Licking's
favorite Christmas movie thread. What's the craziest
Christmas tradition in your family?
My ex always shopped on Christmas Eve when only Fleet Farm
was open. He'd buy bungee cords, flashlights, mittens,
notepads, CD's, batteries...and give it to me and
the kids (my three step-kids) in the big orange plastic
garbage bags FF has. After I started supplementing the
kids' bags with "good stuff, " it became
a tradition we can't give up...even after the divorce.
Everyone loves the damn garbage bags. As potential son
and daughters in law joined the family, it became a symbol
of acceptance for them to get a bag. Makes me happy to know
they all love it as much as we do.
Sorry to get sentimental...but it IS that time of year....
