Re: Does love really exist

To define love is to destroy love. Think about what love
would feel like if it was no longer a mystery? Love is invisible,
comes and goes as it pleases, can happen anytime and for
anyone, it is elusive, unpredictable, uncontrollable,
may last for a brief time or a lifetime, it is different with
each person yet similar enough to recognise it, it can make
you feel so incredible that there are no words to describe
and it's loss can cause unbearable pain, it is mysterious,
exciting, an adventure, and much much more. Now if you knew
exactly what love was who what where when and why you loved
someone, would love be as precious a gift, feel the same,
wouldn't that destroy all that is love?
To say the only person we can really love is ourselves sounds
to me like you are still hurting over a lost love?
Yes to cry over losing someone is over our loss of another.

Now the marriage issue...LOL.....IMO unless you are religous
and it is important to be married in the eyes of God if you
take a good look at it, marriage is two people all dressed
up who invited family and friend to witness the signing
of a contract stating they promise to love each other exclusively
forever. It is also a trust issue, you say you love me but
I can never be sure unless we get married. A guarantee of
lasting love. Proof! IMO that is a promise no one can guarantee
they can keep! Love comes from the heart not thro signing
a contract to keep a promise that is unrealistic to say the
least!
Love does exist all around us our friends, family, pets,
life, music, things, the list is endless. And if we are very
lucky fall in love with someone and treasure every day your
love lasts because it could disappear at any time.
